Free Event of the Weekend: Bella Gaia at Miller Outdoor Theatre

I bet you didn’t realize it, but free stuff is kicking off at Miller Outdoor Theatre again! Our recommended FREE event for this weekend is to head over on Saturday and check out “Bella Gaia: A Poetic Vision of Earth from Space”.
Bella Gaia (Beautiful Earth) is a ‘Living Atlas’ multimedia journey of our world, expressing the deeply moving beauty of planet Earth as seen through the eyes of astronauts by successfully simulating space flight.
A collaboration with NASA, Bella Gaia is an immersive theater experience, a portal to develop a deeper connection and empathy with our planet Earth. Created by award winning director and classically trained violinist Kenji Williams, Bella Gaia features a live performance by Kenji, world music performers and dancers, with orbiting visualizations of Earth from space.
Using sophisticated scientific visualizations powered by NASA data from fires in the Amazon basin to time-lapse images of the Arctic ice, Bella Gaia demonstrates the science behind what makes Earth habitable.
While we have no clue what to expect, judging by the YouTube video for it… we think adding a bottle of wine to your cooler for the event will make the night extra entertaining. The show runs from 8pm to 10pm.

Hmm, not sure how you could make a judgment about Maemo6x if you don’t actually own/use? The activists who fought back developers for the creation of the Rio de Los Ángeles State Park and
the Los Angeles Historic State Park have their eyes set on a “crown jewel” of the LA River,
a plot of land which a developer is currently interested in purchasing.
